It is a liquid nitrogenous fertilizer containing 28 to 32% of nitrogen. Due to absence of free ammonia in the carbamide-ammonia mixture, there are no ammonia evaporations into the atmosphere during application of this fertilizer; nitrogen loss does not exceed 10% of total nitrogen whereas nitrogen loss attains 30 to 40% during application of pelletized nitrogenous fertilizers (for instance, ammonium nitrate). The most important advantage of the carbamide-ammonia mixture consists in its high processability. The carbamide-ammonia mixture is a fire and explosion-proof fertilizer.
