Urea (carbamide) is the most concentrated solid nitrogenous fertilizer belonging to the amido group. The following two grades of urea are actually produced: “A” grade including white crystals or pellets (of industrial purpose) and “Б” grade including white or slightly coloured pellets (of agricultural purpose). This fertilizer is highly soluble in water and hardly consolidatable under the normal storage conditions. Under the normal conditions, it is fire and explosion-proof.
